The Don Juan de Borbón Foundation, attached to the Segovia City Council, and the La Esteva Cultural Association are once again putting the celebration of the European Day of Music, 21st June, on the calendar. The commemoration will take place this year between Sunday 19th and Thursday 23rd June with performances by musicians and dancers from Segovia and Escorial and the visit of a youth choir from the United States, the Oackland University Chorale.
Thus, on Sunday 19 June, the performances will begin at 19.30 in the Zuloaga Garden, with the celebration of the 18th Mariano San Romualdo Silverio Youth Festival, organised by the La Esteva Dance Association.
On Tuesday 21 June there will be three musical performances, starting with the concert ‘Segovian Soloists’ at 4.30 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Mariano Quintanilla Secondary School. The pianist María Soldado, the violinist Javier Pastor and the guitarist Javier Vivanco will take part.
